Following on from discussions at Burger Bowl and EuroBowl, I've started work on organising a Central Belt Blood Bowl League or CB3L (Chelmsford Bunker Blood Bowl League beat us to the CBBBL moniker)
I've hosted it on the Glasgow OBBLM site, so if you are interested please head over there and sign up. In the Glasgow league we request that you use your actual name (or variation thereof) as your username as it makes identifying your opponents much easier. However that's as we use Facebook for arranging matches. I'm aware the Edinburgh guys tend to use their NAF IDs. Assuming that this'll be the main discussion site, I'd suggest either your real name or forum name to simplify things.
The proposal for the league is a fixed schedule format, playing all other teams once per season. The plan is to have a league day once a month on a Saturday or Sunday when you'll have time to play at least two games alternating between Glasgow and Edinburgh. We're currently proposing Shazz's shop for the Glasgow location, Settlers in Hamilton. While the aim is to build links between the Glasgow and Edinburgh leagues, this is open to all.
With Christmas looming, I suspect there's little point trying to get anything started before next year but it gives us a month to get everyone signed up on the website, teams created and a match schedule up.
As the site stands at the moment, teams are the standard 24 NAF teams, 1000k starting value, can't purchase FF but all teams start with 5. We also have the Banking Rule implemented, so bank over 150k GP will add to TV.
We'll see how much interest there is over the next few weeks and get a schedule in place based on that.
