Statistical Analysis of the 2016 World Cup. Notes;
Although not in both lists, Amazon, Khemri, Chaos and High Elf all contributed very highly but where selected rarely so not shown.
Orcs consistently did badly whereas Skaven and Pro Elf did better toward the top of the team rankings.
Necromantic, Dwarfs, Undead and Chaos Dwarf did worse towards the top of the team rankings.

Statistical Analysis of the 2016 World Cup. Only considering the top 3rd (top 50) of the teams, in order of most contributed to the team points; Wood Elf 44 Lizardman 35 Norse 11 Necromantic Undead 28 Dark Elf 33 Pro Elf 16 Skaven 18 Dwarf 15 Human 12 Undead 35 Chaos Dwarf 13 Orc 11 (the numbers are the number of times the race was used.) Ignoring teams with less than 10 picks. So if we put those teams in order of preference they would be: Wood Elf 44 (no surprise there then) Undead 35 (and again) Lizardman 35 (whoa, that is unusual) Dark Elf 33 (back to normal) Necromantic 28 (suited WC format but also suits refined Eurobowl format) Then it drops 10 places / teams to: Skaven 18 Pro Elf 16 Dwarf 15 Chaos Dwarf 13 Human 12 Norse 11 Orc 11 So Lizardman was 2nd equal choice and less than a fifth of the top teams took Amazon I notice.

And orcs did badly, Norse look pretty poor in the ruleset... Can we rule those two out?
Then as look suggests it may come down to allocating the first 5 teams and seeing who/what's left as best fits.

How about:
Underworld with Morg either running or throwing mutated Goblins? And a skaven line. Maybe skitter stab too.
Vampires with Count Luthor?

Kroxigor looks ace though. blitzers pay a lot for potential but guard chimes well with diving tackle and their strength access is why they're in the tourney team for me. Guard on ag4 seems good too but.. Having never played the team I still think my way round is better Anyway, we probably need some steer from the big man. Locking in some players/races will drastically reduce the permutations we need to consider.

Think this now links to the other thread where until ll Capitano can break good/bad news to people then this can't progress much.
Slann are an interesting team I took them to a one dayer, Catcher and Blitzer build, no Krox. My thinking was one of the Slann pros is their ability to 'redeploy' very quickly but the Krox although fast is easily tied up by any team with 'fodder' to fee him a Zombie/Lino. I found the difference between the Catchers and Blitzer's 2+/3+ leap and dodge really comes to be a challenge and the lack of Basic Block/Dodge leaves you behind the curve and decent coaches, which you are bound to meet in Eurobowl, will exploit this.
I think they would be a difficult team to do exceptionally well with but wouldn't quibble if someone wanted to take them to Eurobowl

Haha! I wish. No its the arms race guard that stops people taking fun skills instead. The 'I'd like to take mighty blow but *Sigh* I suppose I need guard to cancel out the guard the other guy will inevitably take' type guard.

Basically if there is a finite quantity of fun available in a bloodbowl game and you make sure the other guy doesn't have any, does that mean you have all the fun?!
But yes, maxi guard ftw.
