Re new rules.
This season will be run under the old rules: e.g. Piling on does not need a team reroll, MVP is across the whole team, etc.
For the next Season and Cup we will start to phase in the new rules on a rule by rule basis.
David McI/David has said that he will organise a parallel season 31 using the new GW League rules. The idea is that we will run a parallel system for a few seasons to see how it works and then make a call on whats in and whats out.

Re the parallel season: Interesting. As there is very little difference and you are going to phase in the new rules anyway I can't see the point myself but if it is different rules then I suppose the teams should be kept separate which means Michael Franchetti will have to set up another League to support David's schism. Personally I am not a fan of multiple Leagues in one location as it will divide and dilute the local BB playing community. Our recent success was kick started when ELG and Wings came together, this could have the opposite effect! Also as ELG have run sequential leagues for the last 7.5 years from 1 through 30, I for one would not want to destroy that fine tradition built and maintained over many years by many commissioners on multiple platforms by calling next season anything other than Season 31. So may I humbly suggest David calls his League something else to avoid confusion.

So nothing will happen until a month or two into next year. Personally I also do not want to divide the EBBL community however there are questions about using the new rules. We as a group need to decide what we are going to do and to do this well we need to know how the new league rules will play, which is why I suggested to David that we trial the new league rule over a few seasons (in parallel to our normal games) and discuss after then.

It is time for you to apply for the Season 30 Silver Awards: - Silver Star for highest number of SPP earned (in the event of a tie then the winner is the player with the most Interceptions followed by Completions).
- Silver Feet for highest number of Touchdowns (in the event of a tie then winner is the player with the highest number of games touchdowns scored in).
- Silver Fist for highest number of Causalities (in the event of a tie then winner is the player with the most kills, followed by serious injuries etc.).
Player award winners receive an additional 5 SPP MVP. (Only results from Division matches can be counted, results from conceded matches will be considered but may not be counted.) If you do not apply then you will not be considered.

Tom R - I'm nominating Harambe from Dead Famous for Silver Star and most Cas. He's 18 total SPP from the 3 games, and 4 cas.
Sean - Silver Star- Yoki (2xMVP 1xCP 1xTD – 14SPP) Silver Feet – Edward (1xTD) Silver Fist – Kimbley (1xSI)
Phil - Nomination for Silver Feet award - P'ltra Maoil Cholium of Clan Mac Feegle, 4 TDs in 3 games
Alan - Silver star: Blitzer 2 Snakeroot Jr Jr with 12spp (1 mvp + 1 kill + 1badly hurt + 1 touchdown) Silver feet: Witch elf 12 Narcissus with 5 touchdowns. PS: If you change mind about players receiving 2 awards each I'll happily put forward Narcissus with 15spp for the silver star too:)
Grant - Murmandamus (Blitzer) with 5 Cas for the Silver Fist. Fandosys (WElf) with 3 TD’s for the Most TD’s. Fandosys (Welf) for most SPP with 11 – 3TD’s and 1 Cas. Actually, scratch the last one. Murmandus has more spp. 5 cas and 1 td for the season. If it’s not too much hassle, swap them around.
